Surah Al Kahf - Ayah No 72

Assalam o Alaikum.Shab-e-Juma Mubarak.Time to connect with amazing Al Kahf, The Cave of Hope, protection against the evil and our companion of most difficult times of Dajl (Deceit).
Today's Ayah No 72 is continuation of story, 'Musa and Khizar AS'. Two men set out on a journey. Khizar AS has been bestowed upon special knowledge from Allah swt. Through this eventful journey of two great men, Allah swt wanted to teach us important lessons. One that no matter how much knowledge we claim to possess, it is but limited. Two, we are impatient by default whether its our basic instincts, out of curiosity, haste to see results, quick profits,  speedy rewards (both due and undue) etc.
Allah's men embark upon the journey with understanding between two men that Musa AS shall remain quiet and observe what would happen out there. But right at the out set when Khizar AS damaged the boat, it appeared that boat might submerge and people on booard could go to watery grave. Musa AS due to his buoyant, indefatigable and spirited nature couldn't help spectate the situation quietly. So, he instantly questioned Khizar AS' action rather judged him. Reasons behind drowing a boat and people on board were not as important as rules of the game that Musa AS would remain quiet throughout the journey and wouldn't question unless invited to ask. But Musa AS' curious and spontaneous question cum obsevstion was clear-cut violation of the terms of the journey. Khizar AS  turned to Musa AS and told him that he couldn't keep his promise. He couldn't keep patienc as he had promised at the begining of the journey. It can be deduce that Khizar AS' special gift inter alia was insight into human psyche. According to his prediction, great Musa AS couldn't keep patience.
Boat wreckage was first of three incidents that took place during their journey. Let's find out what happened next in coming weeks.
May Allah keep you in his protection till next week and eternity. Ameen

Surah Al Kahf - Ayah No 71

Assalam o Alaikum. Shab-e-Juma Mubarak. Why we need to connect to Al Kahf? Because our enemy it at work round the clock. In order to guard against an enemy who has sworn revenge in front of Allah swt, we need an elaborate and layered defensive system. We need protection between two prayers, between two days and between two weeksand so on. Prayer itself is a protection till next prayer. Four Qul and Ayat ul Kursi (minimum) is a protection between the night and day. Among other protections, third layer of protection is Al Kahf from Juma to next Juma. Recitation is enough for inciting Allah’s mercy and protection, however, it makes better sense and effect if you know what you are reciting. It may add conviction and help achieve approvals faster than we think. One final word, like medical treatment sequence i.e. diagnosis, prescription, managnent & cure. Recitation of Kalam Allah (personal opinion) guarantees protection ( problem management) but cure may lie in actions (Amal).
Today's Ayah No 71 marks beginning of an amazing journey containing three incidents having far reaching consequences. Recall previous four Ayahs 67-70 wherein the terms and conditions were agreed upon by the two living giants of that time i.e. Musa & Khizar AS. It was greatness of Musa AS that despite being Allah swt's favourite Rasool, He accepted ascendancy of Khizar AS in knowledge. Not only that he submitted himself in the company of Khizar AS like a humble pupil.
So they set out on a voyage. Khizar AS tore the ship apart. Musa AS couldn't resist and asked him if he wanted to drown people on board. Also declared his act as a grave one.
Response of Musa AS was natural. His query was genuine. His reaction was spontaneous.
So how did Khizar AS respond? We shall find out next week, Insha Allah.

Campaign against Army

Really amazed, angered and agitated to see the post and remarks. We lack balance and as nation can’t overcome our political biases and biases towards our previous institutions. We are everything but Pakistanis like we have countless sects. To all respected members about whom public perception is of “extreme and superior patriots”,   and these are the mild or decent words in given situation. For once, keep it real please

Firstly, about the post. Doesn’t matter fake or real. Doesn’t matter collar dots  as per SD or not. Doesn’t matter famous or infamous col Rashid has been promoted or not. Doesn’t matter if you remove, ignore or not share such ‘filthy’ (as few members said) posts, this stuff out there. It would come on your handsets and your kids and family’s phones. What matters is that Regime Change Operation took place in the country. Two miscalculations nearly jeopardised successful execution of said plan. One peoples’ reaction. Two social media/ Vloggers. The affected (PTI) and it supporters (uncontrollable young and bad-tameez lot) have recoiled. Why uncontrollable because they are growing in a different world. They connected with world through their palms. They are more aware than us as generation. We couldn’t disagree with our fathers on politics. They do. Have they not been betrayed? Is PTI not the largest political party with biggest number of seats on National Assembly in apparently a democratic way of Govt/ governance? Are they not aggrieved? There could be outside element but do we really need outside enemies with this kind of Mess we are already in?

Aggrieved Pakistanis are still Pakistanis. We thought some of them were monkeys in East Pakistan. It was nearly the same situation. We might have thousand reservations & versions on what happened and how it happened but they seem to have the last laugh because as we speak they have a far stable country and economy.

Should we not seriously talk about the real issue like imbalance of power. Someone so low in protocol hierarchy is above law. Practically, ‘The Sovereign’. Forget about current army leadership, the problem exits for long and is likely to persist for long. Real crisis in the country has always been imbalance of power. Are not defying Allah swt when we write in constitution that Allah swt is The Sovereign and in its stark contradiction one person trampled over all senior rungs of power ladder and even tries to play god. How can he?  This has to stop. Otherwise, we shall keep going in circles. Totally confused on issues of collar dots, minor SD and 5th Gen info war and DG ISPR shall continue to educate nation on conspiracy and penetration or intrusion. And Neutral or Apolitical.

I may not be free of biases but I have tried my level best to remain ‘Neutral’ 😊 like my beloved institution which is not enjoying good repute among its people which hurts really bad.

Allah Karim, Pakistan aur Fauj kay liye asanian farmaye. Ameen

Surah Al Kahf - Ayah No 68

Assalam o Alaikum. Shab-e-Juma Mubarak. May this be a blessed Juma for you and your family.
Today's Ayah No 68 is continuation of Ayah No 67 in which Khizar AS told Musa AS that he could never be patient with him. He followed it up with the question in this Ayah that how could he be patient about something beyond his knowledge?
This Ayah leaves us with a conclusion and a lesson for life. The conclusion is that human knowledge is limited. Secondly, due to limited knowledge, we as specie are impatient particularly when things are beyond the limits our knowledge.
Some examples of our impatience in this reign of money gods(so we think) are:
As kids we remain impatient to lay hands on next new toy coming in the market regardless of the number of toys held with us.
As teenagers we develop love for self and apparently 'fall in love' with opposite gender because of impatient directionless love. Likewise, we engage in passions which are in fashion like Metaverse fantasy thesedays and impatiently adopt what is 'new and hip' without knowing the consequences of such things. Metaverse is anything but real and people would be eating, sleeping, defecating and urinating in the bed (my prediction) to say the least.
As we start booming babies, our impatience grows towards securing resources. More money, better car, bigger house pretty much like chasing American Dream while putting up in rural Pakistan.
Beyond forty, two things happen. We reconcile with mantra of life as we start seeing the end of the road. If reality doesn't sink in at this stage, we continue to go in circles wotshipping money god and can't think other than making another thousand, million or billion. Before we know it the money we mistakenly take as our surety bond, becomes useless collection of paper trash or metal that can't buy you health or contentment. Or it gets useful for next generation to start the same cycle all over again.
May Allah grant us patience. Ameen

Surah Al Kahf - Ayah No 70

Assalam o Alaikum. Shab-e-Juma Mubarak.
May this blessed day bring all the good things your way. Al Kahf is not just a Surah tiltled 'The Cave' rather a Cave of Hope amidst chaos of deceit and despair. Everyday, we knowingly invite well-dressed, well informed swindlers and eloquent tricksters through our fancy handsets and get misled by their bag full of tricks. Al Kahf is the firewall against all such jiggery-pokery out there. For better results, we need to develop deeper understanding of this Surah to beef up our defences against the ruthless enemy.
Today's Ayah No 70 is continuation of conversation between two great men Musa and Khizar AS. In previous Ayahs, Khizar AS expressed his reservations that how could Musa be patient about things he didn't know about. In last Ayah, Musa AS assured Khizar AS that he would abide by all instructions if Allah willing. In this Ayah No 70, Khizar AS took assurances from the great Prophet and set the rules of the game. He told Musa AS only two things. One, to follow him. Two, to observe quietly until asked to give his input.
These four Ayahs 67-70 are very important for things to come. The Greatest Storyteller (Allah swt) spared four Ayahs for this purpose. In first Ayah 67 & 68, Khizar AS, Allah swt's special man with special knowledge pointed towards human limitation of impatience. In next Ayah 69, ProphetMusa AS  assured him of his patience and conditioned it to Allah's will. In the process, Musa AS also accepted Khizar AS as his master on quest for knowledge for the reason that he had been appointed by none other than Allah swt himself. Note that the whole adventure of great men is about knowledge not some treasure buried somewhere. It nullifies our quests of lives limited to lay hands on material treasures but we have been deceived by our enemy and our desires.
Current Ayah No 70 is about the rules of the game. Now that the stage is set, three amazing incidents shall follow in coming Ayahs/ weeks which we shall discuss Ayah by Ayah & week by week.
May we learn to benefit from lessons of life kept in treasures of Al Kahf. Ameen

Options available to Imran Khan

Pakistan's creation was no less than a miracle and we need more miracles for its survival. Independence struggle was against foreign occupiers of different color (white) and breed (British). Post Independence struggle had none of the above ingredients. Homegrown occupiers may be called usurpers of nearly black color and breed desi angrez, hence, no struggle from the occupied and everyone lived happily ever after. Well, not really.

First thing, let's get on one page on elections which are not taking place anytime soon. This is one prediction where I'd love to be wrong. Facts of the matter include survival of the sovereign. Now I exactly know why they used to say, 'Long Live The King'. By this they didn't mean the King but their own miserable lives which could be cut short if they didn't wish The King a Long Life. And if the king plays strokes all 360 degrees and is master of deception then let's chant in unison, 'Long Live The King'. Other impediment to elections is November, then next November and one more November. Lots of Novembers are needed for longevity of rule, survival and safe exit. But dreamers are passionate creatures, they can't help dreaming. So they go to an extent of expecting early elections.

Really shocked to see SS in Quetta. Message is clear. We are them, they are us until death do us part. Funny enough, this vow is taken before every marriage and seldom survived face off with realities of real life. For couple of days, despite watching pics of Honrable Prime Minister addressing officers of Pakistan Army in Quetta, I made belief it was a meme by some genius. I would love to live with that belief.

Keep aside above rambling satire, IK apparently is trying to avoid the violence and anarchy which is overshadowed by uncompromising position of all powerful all inclusive Imported Government. There may be many unintended consequences as it's easy to start a fight but difficult to end. However, there were questions on his decision making since long particularly Inqalabi Long March on 25 May 22. It was disappointing as people had been asked to come out for Inqalab (revolution) and leader just touched down and practically vanished from sight leaving us with questions like:

1. Why Dharna was called off abruptly? Wisdom?

2. Why IK kept hiding in Peshawar? More Wisdom??

3. Is this result of some deal? If yes then what is the bargain? More & more Wisdom???

To be honest, not only we are a spineless society, we are cowards, servile, spineless, slaves. We are hypocrities. That doesn't absolve your and my political leadership. They can commit mistakes. If we learn to critique political leaders of our choice and they show stomach to take it, only then things could improve in political arena.

IK is left with two options after discarding option of going back to the assemblies:

1. Do nothing and hope for the system to crush under its own weight. Quite unlikely as mentioned in the start, "Long Live the King". Unfortunately it is such a bad option that we may not have Pakistan as we see it today but the King shall Live. And can't help sharing couple of amazing verses:

لگا کر آگ شہر کو بادشاہ نے کہا

اُٹھا ہے دل میں تماشے کا آج شوق بہت

جھکا کر سر سبھی شاہ پرست بولے

حضور! شوق سلامت رہے شہر اور بہت

2. Dharna style political struggle. I don't personally trust IK’s call for Dharna unless he comes and digs in. This option has two inherent drawbacks. One: PTI is niether structured well nor do they have replacement leadership in any contingency particularly when IK is taken out of equation (which is highly likely). Two: even if IK comes out on the streets to fight for the rights of Pakistanis, he may not find them in numbers because The King's Men are hell bent on using brutal force and people who came out/ may come out in his support are relatively 'soft' targets. They are niether battle hardened political mercenaries nor experienced in political agitation. However, this might be his only option if he remains outside a prison cell for long. His imprisonment is not my wish rather harsh realities of foreseeable future suggest that he will be taken and God know where will it lead to. However, mounting people pressure is the only thing that may initiate process of early elections. Yet, stakes are very high for the sovereign and why would an 'absolute sovereign' (a fallacy that will cause his doom and in the process may cause irreparable damage to the country) allow an eccentric back in power who refers to centuries old model of Medina, cites Quranic verses, reiterates Kalima each time he addresses his people and the freedom that comes with it. Such an outdated lunatic couldn't be deliberately allowed back in power. At least, impossible as long as jading king remained in his right senses. As if he is he in his right senses now. Even after the king shows his back, his obedient Boys may carry the baton. IK shall be sidelined vigorously in weeks to come. Dejavu of ZAB story of 1977. The only difference is of Marshall Law Type.

It sometimes feels that too much slavery for centuries has made us forget true taste of freedom. We think these days from pay cheque to pay cheque, profit to profit and so on. But I would love to bury this slavish demon in my lifetime if the nation shows some spine and the leader keeps his feet. Hope is the fuel of life. Hope must live. But it is so suffocating right now that it is getting hard to breath and I don't think I can continue to live like this for long. However, Long Live The King. I hope I get less calls on this one after chanting for the long life of the King. But the king's men are very smart, they know I don't mean it.

May Allah give us freedom in our lifetimes. May Allah protect Pakistan. May The Absolute King show mercy on us and make example of tiny Pharaohs with gigantic egoes. May Allah's favoured system prevails in Pakistan. Ameen.

Surah Al Kahf - Ayah No 69

Assalam o Alaikum.Shab-e-Juma Mubarak. Please find time to recite or understand complete or part of Al Kahf for yourself and your loved ones. This magnificent Surah is our only protection against our enemy at large till the end of times.
Today's Ayah No 69 is Musa AS's reply to Khizar AS when in previous Ayah Khizar AS told him that he wouldn't be patient in situations beyond his knowledge. The story is picking up folks. Before we proceed further there is one lesson that we all must take away from it i.e. 'the more I know, I come to know that I know not'.
Note that two men engaged in this captivating conversation were/ are amongst the greatest few who graced this earth. Look at the mannerism. Khizar AS didn't belittle Musa AS for his limited knowledge rather painted a logical scenario wherein patience would become irrelevant if matter went beyond limits of his knowledge.
However, Musa AS assured him of remaining patient and promised him to obey instructions if Allah willing. He also taught us correct use of Insha Allah. In same Surah, use of Insha Allah has already been emphasised enough and you can go through the blog entry on link below for more details:
http://asadjamal32.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-story-behind-saying-insha-allah.html?m=1
Though Musa AS assured Khizar AS that he would comply all instructions but could he keep his promise? To find out you might have to wait for another week. Till then, may Allah keep you safe in Emaan and Amal. Ameen

Surah Al Kahf- Ayah No 67

Assalam o Alaikum. Shab-e-Juma Mubarak. Sincere prayers for a blessed Juma for you and your family. If we know the value of summer we wouldn't complain about heat. If we know about the advantages of Autumn we wouldn't complain about dead plants. Our vision and understanding of things is slave of our perception. Mostly we take things for their appearances and people for their face values. While living in our limited perception bubble we tend to forget that every thing happens for a reason. The Master Planner/ Architect could see the end state while programming through minor details of everything which is pretty much the theory of everything for you. Story of Musa and Khizar AS is about limited human understanding versus infinite wisdom of All Knowing.
Today's Ayah No 67 is reply of Khizar AS on his conditional request of teaching him from what has been taught to him. Since Khizar AS had been taught certain knowledge from Allah swt, he had to be quite familiar with human psyche. Only authority on hunan nature is The Creator and those whom he blessed with better understanding of it. In a precise & well measured manner Khizar AS tells great Rasool of all times that for sure he wouldn't have the patience for it. There you go, human psyche stripped off for you. Real message in this line is that if people of grand stature like Musa AS couldn't be patient enough then comomers like us ought to be extremely impatient. It also supplements Quranic verse [21:37]

خُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ مِنْ عَجَل

Man was created of haste.

Or Man is creature of haste.
Or Man is impatient.

May Allah give us strength to cope up with our limitation of haste/ impatience. Ameen
