Surah Al Kahf- Ayah No 67

Assalam o Alaikum. Shab-e-Juma Mubarak. Sincere prayers for a blessed Juma for you and your family. If we know the value of summer we wouldn't complain about heat. If we know about the advantages of Autumn we wouldn't complain about dead plants. Our vision and understanding of things is slave of our perception. Mostly we take things for their appearances and people for their face values. While living in our limited perception bubble we tend to forget that every thing happens for a reason. The Master Planner/ Architect could see the end state while programming through minor details of everything which is pretty much the theory of everything for you. Story of Musa and Khizar AS is about limited human understanding versus infinite wisdom of All Knowing.
Today's Ayah No 67 is reply of Khizar AS on his conditional request of teaching him from what has been taught to him. Since Khizar AS had been taught certain knowledge from Allah swt, he had to be quite familiar with human psyche. Only authority on hunan nature is The Creator and those whom he blessed with better understanding of it. In a precise & well measured manner Khizar AS tells great Rasool of all times that for sure he wouldn't have the patience for it. There you go, human psyche stripped off for you. Real message in this line is that if people of grand stature like Musa AS couldn't be patient enough then comomers like us ought to be extremely impatient. It also supplements Quranic verse [21:37]

خُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ مِنْ عَجَل

Man was created of haste.

Or Man is creature of haste.
Or Man is impatient.

May Allah give us strength to cope up with our limitation of haste/ impatience. Ameen
