Corona daily - PM's media talk 24 March

During media talks with Prime Minister 'leading journalists' badly exposed because previously they were enjoying 'thug life' with political thugs, engaged in blackmailing, minting money, ptomoting dodgy agendas, spreading sensationalism, selling cheap news, rubbing shoulders with rich & powerful. They remained embroiled in everything except honest journalism, hence no intellectual capacity to even phrase unbiased, masses specific and pendemic related improvisation and talk of national unity in ensuing calamity. They are so fearful and tense, how could we expect any ray of hope from those who themselves are so tense and frustrated for two things. One they are not making enough money lately and two that they are so in love with hitherto life of power and privilege that they are panicking big time. REMEMBER when media and politicians are in panic and pretend to be sincere, be rest assured they are lying. 

Having said that PM must not defend blunder at Iran borders. Commit that whoever caused this neglect must be brought to justice.

Except PM there is no politician to be seen let alone answering difficult questions. If there was any other politician of past, there would be no such hard hitting media bout with gloves off with a sitting PM. 

People please wake up and smell the coffee. Stop looking towards politicians for any good and never base your perception on anything on media leeches' agenda lines.

May Allah protect this nation from these marketeers of lies (دجل)

Corona Daily - 23 March

Pakistan Day Mubrak. Let's get united to safegaurd against every internal, external and natural calamity. 

It is surprising and painful that educated key board warriors are spreading rumors. Some disagreeing with govt measures and augmenting divide policy. Others spreading rumors online. Can't judge anyone for malintent or their motives but ignorance is very strong ingredient of such activities. Rumors cause confusion. Confusion causes panic. And panic will be worse than this pendemic. Some social media posts are sending fear tremors that Pakistan is worst hit and its going to get worst. Wrong. Pakistan is not worst hit so far. How things will shape up, we don't know but so far so good as far as Pakistan is concerned. Govt and individual steps are all in good direction. Purposefully, remaining inside vehicle, I drove around 250 kilometrs from Islamabad to Western rural areas of my hometown Attock yesterday and found that there is serious need of awareness to impose social distancing. People were out in numbers on bikes and small cars for picnics, clearly not taking the pendemic seriously. Whereas, administration has imposed strict control on partial lock down. Except food and pharmacies no businesses were allowed to remain open starting from cosmetics store of Save Mart in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi to leather goods shops at Gondal village. Rest all seems in good order. It is time of solidarity. Those who strongly support total lock down must give alternative measures to Govt (PM & his team of advisers) addressing their logic of lack of resources to feed daily wage workers instead of criticism for the sake of criticism. So let's call it time out for criticism and time in for constructive and practical solutions. 

Personally, being supporter of total lock down, here is asuggestion to Govt to study people's model in Karachi. Iqrar ul Hasan started free packed box food distribution for poor, needy and those dependent on Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazar for food. The packing company wala made boxes for free. Then people of wealth began to pour in money for distribution of free food. May Allah bless all of them. So, even if we head for total lock down, this nation will come up with solutions. This nation has a lot of strength which it showed during natural calamities of earthquakes, floods, IDPs situations and while fighting all sorts of extremism whether religious, liberal, hindu, socialist, capitalist, sectarian (KSA & Iran) etc. This nation didn't budge. Only time they get divided is when they get entrapped by fancy talk and deceitful hope promoses of politicians who are no where to be seen in these testing times. Let's hope, Insha Allah after recovering from this pendemic, this nation stops being deceived & divided by politicians for short term ecoonmic and political gains. 

Many people are relating and few are asking about relation of this pendemic with end of times. Yes, the signs are obvious but right now May Allah protect this nation, just one more time and may be then it might be able to play its role towards impending scenarios but right now getting through this phase is extremely important.

Corona - what to do

All basic precautions are known to everyone like social distancing, hand washing etc. But we must not bog down and stay alert to situatiin demands. In case, Allah forbids, the pendemic spirals out of control like Iran and Italy, what should be our survival in absence of vaccines? Please don't wait or look towards any type of leadership whether political, military or local administration. Everyone is equally baffled. Get practical. Few suggestions:

Ventilators: The only equipment that can alleviate the sufferings and prevent death of Corona victims are ventilators. The number of ventilators are very less in Pakistan like every other country. But we cannot go blank and numb in the face of this pendemic. After immediately imposing national emergency, at national level, Govt must press Dewan Motors and every other big or small manufactureres to transform every equipment at its disposal into ventilators. 

Generally, people who are familiar with mechanics and electronics must come up with improvised ventilators at home. There are some ideas circulating with regards to use of grasscutters and other household items that could be convetted into ventilators. Please share those ideas across the board for everyone's understanding and use. This equipment can save someone's loved ones' lives.

Secondly, urge govt to ask all manufacturers who use spirit and alcohol as part of their products like pharmaceuticals, Murree Brewery and Indus Alcoholic beverages etc must immediately divert all their production to making 100% hand sanitizers. Govt must make them available to people on battlefootings. At househlod level, if you don't have any alcoholic hand sanitizers just put few drops of lemon in hotwater and repeatedly wash your hands. 

Thirdly, if masks are not available in the market, stich those at home. Just need a needle with thread, piece of cloth and a piece of elastic rubber used in different clothes in your house. My kids are making these masks at home.

Regularly cleaning things coming in you house is extremly important. Whether its water bottle from grocery store or filtration plants must be sanitized. If you don't find anything else just put some dettol in water, if you don't find that just put some lemon dops in hot water and clean everything entering your house. Cleanse your car, shoes, clothes and all edible items before someone from your family lays their hands on it.

People prone to allergies must use black cadamum, onion juice, lemon, honey, olive, and garlic in hot water once a day.

This may be an unreal wish cum demand but if possible govt must push representatives of people to stay amomg people and connect with them. 

Remember panic is not a solution to any problem. Our religion is a faith of hope. Life doesn't end with divorce of body and soul. Its just  entering phase four out of five. In Phase one, we acknowleged Allah as our Lord. In phase two, our souls frozen. In phase three, marriage of soul with body. In phase four, soul's divore with body and wait in Barzakh. And lastly, phase five, Judgement and final disposal. So, its a continuation of unending majestic journey. 

Make use of this time reconnect with Allah. Seek his protection. Plenty of Astaghfar. Live every moment with love of Allah and compassion for his creature. Spread hope. May Allah shower his Rahem upon humanity. Ameen

This Nowroz

It all started with above post. Read carefully every word deligently, please. 

 

Every word in Urdu statement was a news for me. Having read so much about our history, society, polotics, religion, geography how could I miss something which is so critical in society for spreading positive feelings of 'یکجہتی اور تکسیری'. 

Firstly, the author of these lines. 

The guy is a retired army officer and had been a brother in arms. He writes

books & columns and appears in talk shows. I always wondered how people make their way in to media and showbiz corridors. Straight honest talk is not a sellable product. There has to be a sinister agenda. So began to search. Wikidedia being our source of information (not knowledge) painted different picture from this innocent statement that its purely cultural ritual and has nothing to do with any religion or sect. Totally, not agreeable. Even Wikipedia (which is info steam of demonic forces) couldn't tell lies about the origin of this day in following words:

"Nowruz (Persian: نوروز‎, pronounced [nowˈɾuːz]; lit.  "new day") is the Iranian New Year,[17][18] also known as the Persian New Year,[19][20] which is celebrated worldwide by various ethno-linguistic groups.'

The only good news about geographic point of view is that twice a year, day and night hours are equal due to vertical equinox on this day i.e 21 March and 21 September every year. Rest all is very dodgy. 

Wikipedia adds"'Nowroz has Iranian and Zoroastrian origins'. Zoroastrian worshiped Sun (made of fire and fire is symbol of devil). 7000 years ago there was no Ibrahamic religion in practice. So we need to correct our facts about it. Either rectify Wikipedia or rectify this narrative. People should be honest about it by declaring that they endorse Zoroastrian religion which  is everyone's birth right to practice any religion but making such gol mol statements which promote practices of idolator and heathen religions is not something that can go unnoticed. It is just a rational argument promoting religious freedom, nothing meant to downplay anyone. There is already too much confusion and our generation must be able to cut through the deceit.

Finally, how could we celebrate anything of Irani origin when Iran itself is witnessing a death every ten minutes due to Alllah'a Azab and the same Coronavirus is knocking at our doors as well. So instead of  promoting imported festive rituals, we the followers of Islam should promote maximum zikar of Allah particularly Istaghfar in these testing times.

Corona vs Kiyun-nikala viruses

Entire world is awestruck by Corona-virus. No other topic on international media finds space thesedays. Pakistani lafafay who claim to be journalists are breathless in shouting that Princess Mariyam has broken the silence. Awww... Really??? Even circus monkeys and stray dogs might have better take on this issue than these paid viruses.

Apparently called journalists are upbeat on her media appearance. For what? Why? Why this revolutionary has been so silent for so long? Why usually so loud Princess was so moderate in her tone and tenor? How long will they continue to dupe people and how long people will continue to be so blindfolded?

She has made a symbolic appearance just because elected members of PML (N) of National Assembly and Punjab Assembly have raised voices on absence of Noora leadership. Even top leadership, facing hardships at the hands of revengeful thugs of PTI began to question vanished revolutionary Noora leadership from political landscape of the country. Disappearance of Noon League's leadership is in fact, doing a great favour to incompetent and corrupt team of amateur Khan. Incompetent Govt incumbent is having a field day without any resistance whatsoever. Problem with traders is that they always see things in terms of profit and loss. They see no point in investing time, effort or money on this stupid nation at this point in time. Why not enjoy in ‘hard earned’ cozy flats in Central London and enjoy some fancy cuisine from money made out of toil and sweat (of others). When the time is ripe just before next elections, they could make a parachute entry and appear as emphatic, enthusiastic and energetic as ‘true leaders’ should appear. For the time being, lets continue our showmanship from here in London by wearing those tilted hats and Jinnah caps. There is no harm in uploading limping video of Charsi Dr Adnan on the social media. Some patwari mindset might feel sorry for that useless rascal and win some sympathy vote.

A little insight of mysterious Princess' sudden appearance:

Leadership's question, 'So what to do in growing unrest among the rank and file of Nooras?' ‘Mian Sab, in such crisis there is one person who can change the tables for us’, excitedly, suggested Mariyam Aurangzeb. Who? ‘ Who else than Mariyam Bibi’, replied Mariyam Aurangzeb the brain behind most of the mess in recent times. Mian sb,’ Wah g Wah, bohot aala, tell Dhi Rani to appear on cameras but be careful, it should not violate our agreement clauses’.

So this was the brief background of brilliant thought process behind Mariyam Nawaz appearing on cameras. How pitiful is our situation? We are at the cusp of history's worst Corona outbreak in this country. What will become of us when this natural calamity is coupled with the plague of sick media viruses? But problem with Corona is that it is a real pandemic whereas self-inflicted Kiyun-nikala type viruses have always been our own choosing with kind courtesy of media viruses.

May Allah protect us from both plagues.

Khali-ur-Rehman Qamar decoded - Part1

The Problem

In order to understand the problem, let's first understand Khali-ur-Rehman Qamar. If you know him well, you may know most of them because he represents mindset of majority men in our society. He is an 'ego driven reformist'. He has to put things right becasue he thinks he is right. So whatever stance he has taken on the issue is right because he said so. His opinion may be true but his ego gets importance over truth of the matter. Rather his ego is above everything. A small disagreement can turn into an ugly slugfest. Generally avoidable issues get downright personal and irritatingly time consuming. So what possibly could be the source of this uncontainable ego? It is success. Not all but majority get carried away by corresponding levels of success. The higher the level of material sucess, the greater the disease. By the way, every man is successful at different scales. One, success is being chosen to experience life on this earth and being the best of creation. But hang on, this is not by choice. So there is a bug right there. We will dig this bug out in part two. Two, success of a man being male i.e masculine which is not his doing either. Another ego boosting success is that he provides for a family but does he provide  for the famly or is he just the means to providing? Again, there seems to be a bug right there. These are all success way points to destination. One is connected to another and its an illusive spiral. Enough said on ego and her subsidiaries. Now imagine the amount of unprecedented success this gifted drama writer enjoys and understand the quandary of his false ego. 

Coming back to scene of disagreement when apparently a calm, quiet, well dressed, well slept, well fed, well mannered man is about to turn into an ego driven monster. How dare someone disagree and not budge to his opinion. Now stamping his authority and coming out on top becomes priority one. This is the moment when logic and rationality take a leave of absence. Alarms of dfferent levels of insecurities go off. Right in this moment, he believes his self assumed great 'image' is in danger. His survival instincts also begin to go on high alert. What are his options to take down his opponent? Changing facial expressions, appearing angry, raising voice, offending the other person with poignant remarks, unsettling comments: well be rest assured that he will throw everything at him including the kitchen sink. Last thing on the menu is manners and this dish will not be served to this situation. Hence, we often see frenzied arguments on petty things. The correctness of issue / argument gets muddled in hot exchange of words bordering insanity. The outcome is KRQ versus Marvi Sarmad situation. At the bottom of this problem is all deceiving ego. Problem of taking ego for self esteem. Problem of being better than right. Problem of being right than polite. So fallacious is the trap of ego that despite being principally correct, in hindsight, KRQ lost the battle when he lost his temper/manner. At the point when he had to be patient, he unleashed on a 'lowly woman'(in his view in that moment) who dared to dare as big a person (in his view in that moment) as KRQ. All his intelligence, all his persona and all his sophistication vanished in those four mad moments. A fall from grace. Despite being right, he appeared ill tempered, foul mouth and haughty because the way he wanted to settle the issie was self serving and is about satisfying his own false ego. 

Now that we've identified possible problem, we shall be able to suggest a solution to the problem in Part 2.

Women's Day- aurat march

 

Except subatomic level i.e in Quatum Physics, men and women are not equal. Men are better than women in many ways and vice versa. Intrestingly, liberal extremists will skip vice versa part of last sentence and would triumphantly exclaim, 'Told ya, he's a misogynist'. This has become one of our major problems i.e jumping the gun. So, for the sake of repetition, vice versa means women are better than men in many aspects. Whether they are better than men in more aspects than men are better than women, I don't know. What I know for certain is that they are equally respectable but not equal because they were not created equal. Niether physically nor mentally (emotionally).  Besides, claims of gender eqaulity is against the logic of creation. And if you don't agree that creation has alogic then my argument with you otherwise ends here. But for those who believe that creation has a logic and universe is created out of nothing i.e 'Creation Ex Nahilo', we are in for some fruitful discussion. We all have our reasons of existence which in turn become our ideology. Ideology then becomes the guiding beacon of life. My ideology is Islam which demands certain high standards of morality. Respect of women is the hallmark of Islamic ideology. Early 7th Century, women were underprivileged as gender where girls were being buried alive. They had no claims to family property. These were accepted norms of the time. But ideology of peace turned it around for women.

Overtime, however, women folks (not all of them) were deceived by the devil twice. Once when they shifted their focus on exterior. In pursuance of beautification they turned themselves into objects pleasing on the eye. Invariably their exterior incited desire than reverence. As much as the ideology of peace offered them protection and respect in covering their exterior, they drifted thinking they were rebelling. Rebellion against the social order is attractive proposition for those who want to get noticed. In the process, concept of  beauty of soul got lost. Even now through these lines, talk of soul sounds outdated. Ideology of peace and logic was trying to preserve their inner beauty and maintain their preciousness by covering them but they insisted on going on public display. They did what they wanted to because they normally can do what they want to. They somehow objectified their existence and inadvertently brought their value down.

Second trick of the devil came in 20th Century when he convinced them that they needed emancipation. Emancipation from whom? Obviously, from man. So he put a strong wedge between the genders. Another seed of discord was successfully sown. He must relish his greatest victory in this and women folks got it wrong again. Now if you try to tell them that ostensible 'emancipation' is actually inflicting serious damage on our relations with each other as a specie, it wouldn't work. Their immediate reactions would range from dubbing you insecure to anti-feminist to chauvinist. What is left there to discuss? Such is the deception of our eternal enemy. On the other side, just look at the alarming divorce rates in our society.

When we call a household patriarchal, there is always a woman who makes it possible. Not because she is weak but strong enough to understand her role and responsibilities. No household is complete without women. Our lives are nothing without women. Every woman in every relation has made my life fuller, complete and meaningful. No man in any capacity comes closer the love and attachment I have with my mother. She played her role when I needed her and now I play mine. But if a woman is out on the road holding shameful placards when her family needed her, things could be different. Even if they are not family, yet why 1500 women in Islamic republic of Pakistan are going out on roads displaying placards like, 'Mera jism meri marzi'? This is downright derogatory and an insult to entire gender. It is an insult of how we view women in our lives.

Those who disrespect women or disregard their rights don't represent entire men folks. Their proportion is very small. Let me list those heinous things so that some misguided feminist may not make an excuse, 'They are all the same, see he didn't mention rape, karo-kari, honor killing, harassment, acid throwers, dowry, hereditary rights etc'. All of these ills need to be fought out together. Its not your struggle alone. And its not the right way to go out on the roads insulting your own gender and pulling some indecent stunts. Those forntrumner organizing women may get desired attention, media coverage, personal business enhancement opportunities but they still don't represent all our women. Niether is this blog aimed at those women nor will it change their plan of Aurat March but it should serve as an eye opener for those110 million (less 1500 women on aurat march along with few like-minded men) women of my country who desist this absurdity. Its not divisive but an adhesive to already cherishable relations that we have rather to improve family bonding which is the cornerstone of our society and holds the fibre of our society so strongly.

The negligible numbers of women literally daring the societal order with their derogatory slogans against women should not throw us off balance. They should get as much attention as proportionate to 1.5k out of 110,000k. Why one day, let's celebrate women's day every day of the year not as some insane emotional backlash of aurat march but because women in our lives deserve it.

It's not about equality, it's not about rights. It's about humanity. Our women need not go on the road to claim their rights they have by birth. Allah has made them the finest of His creation and no one can add more value to it. He swt further wants them to be treated better and kept well like pearls and diamonds declaring them more precious than men. So does that need any more elaboration. Ideology is everything, we need to just connect with our ideology where rights of everyone are very well laid down by The Book of wisdom in religion of logic.
